Feast of Compassion
A Blessed Ramadan for Shamsul
At 70, paralyzed and unable to work, Shamsul, a Bangladeshi farmer, devoted his life to supporting his wife and three daughters, who now struggle to make ends meet. Last Ramadan, his family faced worries about affording enough food for the fasting days due to limited resources.
Our team visited their village, providing much-needed food packages, including staples like rice, lentils, oil, and traditional Ramadan foods. This generous donation allowed Shamsul's family to observe Ramadan without constant worry about their next meal, bringing joy and relief.
The family, feeling blessed to receive such kindness when they needed it most, expressed deep gratitude to our donors for making the food package possible.

Zala’s Future
Zala, a twelve-year-old Afghan orphan, lost her father, leaving the family without a male breadwinner. They lack a permanent residence and currently reside with their uncle. Zala's older sister, the primary breadwinner, sews dresses at home, but their income is inconsistent, leading to frequent hunger.
Zala used to attend school when her father provided pocket money and school supplies. Now, with her sister struggling to meet basic needs, they hope for assistance with food, books, and stationery to survive, learn, and become independent.
Our team stepped in to help Zala and her sister enjoy the spirit of Ramadan with a nourishing food package. She thanked our generous donors for the food package that would sustain her family for a month, alleviating the struggle against hunger.
