I was looking at Durham County's early voting wait time tracker yesterday and noticed that the South Regional Library on Alston has a 75-minute wait. There was a 0-minute wait at a polling place just a 6-minute drive (2.2 miles) away: The Zakat Foundation at 5110 Revere Road.

The Zakat Foundation is a recently added polling place.

Please get the word out.

The new voter-id requirement is making the lines longer.

75 minutes was the longest wait in the whole county at that time. The wait times will worsen as the November 2 early voting deadline approaches.
