Countless families in Afghanistan are still reeling from the devastating 5.9 magnitude earthquake in the Paktika province near the Pakistan border. More than 770 people were killed, and more than 1,500 were injured, many children. This natural disaster destroyed countless homes, critical infrastructure, and water systems, leaving thousands more Afghans vulnerable.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, our team overcame rain, landslides, and challenging terrain to distribute food aid such as rice and oil and critical necessities such as blankets to 400 Afghan families in the Gayan district of Paktika Province in Afghanistan.
