Ramadan is an incredible, yearly opportunity for Muslims across the United States to come together through acts of prayer, charity and community gatherings that help foster strong, lasting connections.

But for many Muslim youth in the country, having the right support that’s tailored to their needs can sometimes be hard to come by. This is especially true for Muslim youth in the juvenile justice system, who need a stable source of support for their faith as they seek to make better futures for themselves.

This past Ramadan 2025, our Washington, D.C. team partnered with the Washington, D.C. Juvenile Center and the National Center for Juvenile Justice Reform (NCJJR USA) to support Muslim juveniles. They provided halal food for both iftar and suhoor, and celebrated Eid with them in a heartwarming act of support that made them feel truly included and heard.

They’re proud to stand with their young brothers and sisters in faith, and look forward to partnering with the Center and NCJJR USA again.
