As the January weather turned unusually cold for the Southeastern states, homeless families, individuals and elders of Athens, GA, gathered for a meal provided by Zakat Foundation of America in the local Salvation Army hall.

In 2023, 90¢ from each dollar donated went directly toward programs serving those in need. 4¢ went to administrative costs & 6¢ went to fundraising costs.
