USA Emergency Response
Hurricane Helene Relief
Provide emergency relief to families in Florida affected by Hurricane Helene.
On September 26, 2024, Hurricane Helene, a Category 4 storm, hit the Florida Gulf Coast with 140 mph winds and severe storm surges in the Big Bend area. Some regions received over 2 feet of rain, causing dangerous flash flooding. Despite weakening, Helene moved northwest into the Deep South, damaging six Southeast states, especially southern Appalachian towns. Catastrophic infrastructure damage left communities isolated, and over 2 million people were left without power. Zakat Foundation of America needs your support to provide emergency essentials to families who have lost everything, especially in Florida and North Carolina.
Give hope to families experiencing devastating losses from Hurricane Helene.
