January 9th, 2024

The current global climate is enveloped in ongoing conflicts, natural disasters, increasing poverty levels, and an unimaginable number of internally displaced people and refugees. The winter brings an added fear of surviving the bone-chilling temperatures without proper clothing, heat, and shelter.

While ongoing conflicts, natural disasters and the displacement of whole communities often make their way to the news, the added environmental effects of winter temperatures on the vulnerable is rarely considered.

Without proper clothing, heat or shelter, thousands have to suffer plummeting, often below freezing temperatures while still struggling to find daily essentials or even somewhere to call home. Read on to see how our winter relief initiatives for late 2024 and early 2025 are helping them:

Our 2024 Winter Relief Initiatives

This winter, we’re focused on providing comprehensive relief to keep families and individuals safe and protected from the harsh cold.

Our winter supply distributions are happening in nine countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Nepal , Pakistan, Palestine (Gaza), Türkiye & the USA. We’re providing:

  • Coats and blankets for $10 each

  • 100kg of either firewood or coal for $20 each

  • A heater for a whole family for $50 each

  • A comprehensive winter aid package (which includes all of the previously mentioned items) for $120 each

By focusing our winter relief initiatives on providing a variety of aid options, we’re ensuring that diverse daily needs are met for the displaced, impoverished and suffering - and that the relief they receive is long-lasting.

Join us this season in sending warmth to those who need it most.

Send Warmth Your charity can be the reason someone can stay warm and safe in their time of utter helplessness.
