CHICAGO (Oct. 16, 2020) — Zakat Foundation of America has once again met all 20 of the Better Business Bureau’s Standards for Charity Accountability. These high standards — categorized as governance, measuring effectiveness, finances, and fundraising and info — are crucial to running a transparent charitable nonprofit organization.
“Organizations that have so much to offer to our community deserve all BBB has to offer,” wrote Corinne Siebel, a charity accreditation specialist at the BBB Center for Ethics, on Oct. 12. “We’re thrilled to continue supporting you.”
Zakat Foundation of America has been an accredited charity seal holder since June 1, 2015. BBB Accreditation does not mean the BBB has endorsed the charity’s programs or services.
